Okay. Guys. I feel like an idiot. I literally have TWO photos of us installing the windows. WHAT??? How did this happen? I've scoured my photo gallery and come up with two no-even-that-great pics, the above photo being one of them, and the second being even worse. Ugh.
So here's what I DO have to show you. This video is from Tiny Nest. They are a super awesome couple up in Canada that have created a YouTube video series describing their progress building their own tiny home. I can't begin to explain how incredibly useful it has been to me! Jake and Kiva are SOOOO detailed and descriptive in their videos. Below is their vid on how they installed their windows. Honestly we just followed their instructions to a T. Check it out!
So here's the finished product!
I purchased almost all my windows from Lowe's. They were having a sale on custom windows and I also got another 5% off with my Lowe's credit card, so they were a great price! Here's what I got:
Three 60" x 12" tempered sliders (front wall along the top)
One 60" x 18" tempered slider (back wall in the bedroom loft)
One 120" x 12" tempered slider (back wall centered along the top)
One 60" x 16.5" tempered slider (side wall in second loft)
One 43" x 33" tempered single-hung (front wall in the kitchen)
One 36" x 25" tempered egress casement (side wall in bedroom loft)
One 39" x 26.5" tempered awning (side wall in kitchen)
One 47.5" x 33" tempered slider (back wall in living room)
One 21" x 33" frosted single hung (front wall in bathroom - from Habitat for Humanity Restore)
To make up for the lack of window pics, here are some kitten pics. Julius is a mad man.
